Aura Light participates in Swedish State Visit to France
The Swedish lighting company Aura Light has been invited to participate in the Business delegation in conjunction with the Swedish State Visit to France with the King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia of Sweden. The visit will take place December 2-4 at the invitation of President François Hollande.
Aura Light is growing twice as fast as the rest of the lighting industry, which is a true confirmation of the increasing demand for innovative and sustainable lighting solutions. The company has recently signed several large orders and is now accelerating its international expansion, with the French market as a key focus area. Aura Light has already achieved important successes in France, including a large contract with Carrefour, and important customers such as JCDecaux, Eurotunnel, City of Versailles and Lille Metro. The State Visit is an excellent opportunity to further strengthen the close political, economic and cultural ties between Sweden and France.
– We are very honored to be a part of the State Visit to France. For Aura Light it is an opportunity to build stronger trade relations and to show Aura Light as a sustainable and innovative company. For us it is important to spread the word about sustainability and the importance of energy efficient lighting, says Martin Malmros, CEO Aura Light International AB.
The Swedish Energy Agency has recognized Aura Light as one of Sweden’s foremost environmental technology companies with specific cutting-edge expertise in cleantech. Aura Light’s CEO, Martin Malmros, will be present at the Swedish state visit to France in December. Aura Light has also recently won the European Business Awards where they became the National Champion in the category The Award for Environmental and Corporate Sustainability. This is the second year that the company receives this award.
The themes of the State Visit are science and research, environmental and integration issues, and Sweden as a creative culture and lifestyle nation. The business delegation will visit important centers within these areas.
